Prof. Dr. Volker Bucher took students from the Master's in Engineering and Business Management programme on an exciting field trip. At External link opens in a new window:Ritzi in Tuningen, Hartmut Jundt gave the visitors a tour of the company and showed them both the series production facility and the “manufacturing” area, where customer-specific orders are processed.
The tour then continued to External link opens in a new window:TSHK in Aldingen, which specialises in hardening and surface technology. There, HFU alumna Géraldine Porini gave a presentation to the students on coatings such as PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). There was also a tour of the production facility, where the students were able to experience in practice what they had learned in their “Coating and Surfaces” lecture, among other things.
The new Master's degree in Engineering and Business Management, which has been offered at the HFU in the Rottweil Research Center since this semester, can be studied both full-time and part-time.
