Studium Generale lecture on consumption and identity in the digital age at Furtwangen University

What influence do digital media have on our identity and how do they influence our consumer behavior? This question will be explored in the next lecture in the Studium Generale series at Furtwangen University (HFU). On Friday, 18 July, HFU professor Dr. Lucina Odoi will take a closer look at the interactions between digital media, consumption and identity formation. The lecture will accompany the exhibition at the Villingen-Schwenningen Municipal Gallery: “Between stock and e-frame − art in the digital age”. The exhibition with works by Émilie Brout & Maxime Marion, Nicolas Fehr, Mayuko Kudo and Zhé Wang is open until 14 September.

The lecture begins at 6.00pm on the Schwenningen campus in E building, Room 0.02. All are welcome to attend. No advance registration is required.

To accompany the lecture, the Villingen-Schwenningen Municipal Gallery is offering a guided tour of the current exhibition at 5.00pm. Further information and registration for the guided tour can be found at:  Internal link opens in the same window:https://www.hs-furtwangen.de/aktuelles/detail/1509-vortrag-likes-links-lebenswelten.
