You can now re-register for the winter semester
The re-registration period for Winter Semester 25/26 has begun.
First of all, you must transfer your semester contribution/tuition fees by 15 August so that you are re-registered by the start of the semester. You will be automatically re-registered as soon as HFU has received the semester contribution/tuition fees in full. A new certificate of enrolment can then be issued in MIO.
Late re-registration will result in a late fee of €10 and, if necessary, a reminder procedure with the threat of de-registration.
Semester fee €176 (exceptions apply for guest students who are enrolled at HFU as part of an agreement).
This is made up of:
- €66 Student Services fee (Studierendenwerksbeitrag)
- €80 Administration fee (Verwaltungskostenbeitrag)
- €30 Student Body contribution (Studierendenschaftsbeitrag)
If applicable, tuition fees for international students: €1,500, second degree fees: €650.
Please note: The semester fee must also be paid during an internship semester, semester abroad and leave of absence.
If you have completed all examinations by the end of the summer semester (by 31 August, 2025) and submitted your thesis by the deadline, you do not have to re-register but can apply for de-registration even if you have not yet received your grade. If you find out later that you have not passed an examination part, your de-registration will be revoked upon request.
