The HFU Cooperative Doctoral Programme becomes the Graduate Institute of Furtwangen University

In December 2024, the previous cooperative doctoral programme was transferred to the Institute for Applied Research (IAF) at Furtwangen University, where in future it will form the new Graduate Institute. The aim of this structural development is to further improve the supervision of doctoral students through the close networking of all researchers, and to offer them a central point of contact for all questions relating to their doctorate.

In future, the Graduate Institute will bundle structured funding opportunities, interdisciplinary qualification initiatives and create space for stronger interdisciplinary networking. This should not only intensify scientific exchange, but also further strengthen individual support on the path to a doctorate.
