Here you will find all relevant information for your start of studies on 17 March in Furtwangen. For our Computer Science Bachelor's degree programmes, we start with the “INside” introductory week . This gives you an overview of the regular courses, introductory courses and everything else you need to know to get through your time at university. Your regular HFU timetable here does not apply until after the INside week: splan.hs-furtwangen.de/starplan.

Your programme for our Business Information Systems and Business Administration and Engineering degree programmes

Mon, 10 March - Thu, 13 March (for Business Information Systems and Business Administration degree programmes after registration)

9.00am - 1.00pm: Mathematics bridge course (I 2.18)
The bridging course is aimed at all those who want to refresh their old maths knowledge and bridge gaps in their knowledge. Over four days, students will work on and solve problems together and discuss questions.
The course takes place on the Furtwangen Campus in the I Building, Room 2.18 and comprises 20 lessons. Please register with Annette Peuse-Rink, Email application is started:annette.peuse-rink(at)hs-furtwangen.de
In addition to the reassuring feeling of being well equipped for maths, you will also get to know some of your fellow students.

10.00 - 10.30am: Welcome by the Dean of Faculty I, security audit… (B 2.09)
10.30 - 11.30am: Security Audit for undergraduate programmes (Bachelor) Faculty I in German (B 2.09)
11.30am - 12.30 noon: Security Audit for postgraduate programmes (Master) Faculty I in German (B 2.09)
11.30am - 12.00 noon: Campus tour (for Business Information Systems)
12.00 noon: Welcome by the university executive - Auditorium (B 1.14a)
from 12.15pm: “Market of Opportunities” (fair) with freshmen bags from the Student Union (AStA) and “Market Rally” - Auditorium (B 1.14a)

1.30 - 2.15pm: Presentation of the School of Languages and Cultures: offering language courses, language exams and workshops in English - Auditorium (B 1.14a)

2.15 - 2.30pm: Award ceremony of the “Market Rally” - Auditorium (B 1.14a)
from approx. 2.30pm: Presentation by the Student Union (AStA) followed by barbecue
