Workshop for students and school pupils
Hack2Improve is a workshop primarily aimed at computer science students, but is (generally) open to all students and selected pupils with a relevant background.
It is a one-day event which runs from 9.00am - 5.00pm. It is essential to register in advance.
The event is offered in cooperation with a company that is active in the field of IT security awareness. The objectives and content will be determined by our cooperation partner and the workshop will be conducted by relevant people from the field. In order for this event to be beneficial for you, certain technical prerequisites and specialist knowledge of computer science are helpful. Students in the field of computer science usually have these prerequisites and knowledge after their basic studies.
The next workshop will take place on Friday, 4 April. The number of participants is currently limited to 40.
Our cooperation partner is SEC Consult, based in Berlin. The SEC Consult Group is one of the leading consultants in the field of cyber and application security worldwide. As a security consultant, the company protects its clients' valuable information through commitment, expertise and innovation. With the Vulnerability Lab, SEC Consult operates its own internal security laboratory in order to gain an international know-how advantage over attackers in the field of network and application security.
In the upcoming workshop, both aspects, attack and defense, will be considered in a playful way.
