Entry requirements

The admission requirement is a first professionally qualifying bachelor's degree in "Engineering" or "Life Sciences" with 210 credit points (ECTS). Depending on previous knowledge in medicine, medical technology and engineering sciences, admission may be granted subject to the requirement to complete up to 30 additional credit points (ECTS).
This also applies to a bachelor's degree with 180 credit points (ECTS).

In the first two semesters of the curriculum, the "Technical Physician" degree programme gives you the opportunity to set your own individual focus within the framework of two elective modules.

Some lectures are held in English. The course can be completed bilingually on request. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

How do I apply!

Application must be made over our online application portal.
You must first register there.
The following documents must be uploaded during the application process. It is best to have them ready in advance.

  • Copy of university entrance qualification
  • Copy of the professionally qualifying university degree (see admission requirements above)
  • Many applicants have not yet received their degree certificate. In this case, please apply with a current transcript of records containing a provisional overall grade. A current transcript of grades is usually available from the examination office of universities.
  • Foreign applicants with a foreign certificate (also EU) please refer to the note below

International applicants

Foreign nationals with a German university entrance qualification are admitted in the same way as German nationals.

Foreign applicants with foreign certificates and stateless applicants should contact the contact person for the degree programme as early as possible.
