The Furtwangen University auditor programme offers gives those in the local area who have the relevant prior knowledge, the opportunity to take part in regular lectures. Auditors are not entitled to have unlimited access to lectures and matriculated students are always given priority when lectures are full. Additionally auditors are not allowed to take examinations.
Auditor fees are as follows:

•    up to 4 weekly contact hours (SWS): €80
•    up to 8 weekly contact hours (SWS): €180
•    more than 8 Semesterwochenstunden (SWS): €240
