Beginners' workshop for small and medium-sized enterprises
Small and medium-sized enterprises in particular are faced with the question of how artificial intelligence can be used sensibly and productively without high entry barriers or unrealistic expectations. Our seminar teaches practical basics and uses concrete examples from medical technology to show how initial AI projects can be successfully implemented.
Learning objectives and content
This one-day introductory seminar teaches the fundamentals of AI, puts the current hype into perspective, and showcases specific use cases from the field of medical technology. There is a particular focus on combining theory and practice − using a comprehensive case study, participants learn how to develop and evaluate a simple AI model in Python and apply it to a typical use case from development, production, or quality management. The seminar is aimed at specialists and managers with or without prior knowledge of AI who want to understand what AI can do, where its limits lie, and how initial pilot projects can be structured and implemented. Participants gain insight into the ideas, methods and applications behind the buzzword AI. This seminar explains the fundamental success factors and work processes that are crucial for the successful integration of AI projects into the business context.
Target group and prerequisites
The training course is aimed at specialists and managers from the fields of development, production, process engineering and quality management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the medical technology sector.
Prerequisites for participation are:
- Completed vocational training OR
- Completed university degree
- In addition, at least 1 year of professional experience is required.
No prior knowledge of programming or AI is required.
