Institute of Applied Biology
The Institute of Applied Biology (IANB) at HFU contributes with its research to the further development of the bioeconomy as well as industrial and medical biotechnology. Its members conduct research and development at the heart of the fields of Health and Sustainability, Climate Protection and Energy of the Federal Government's High-Tech Strategy 2025 and the strategic research priorities Health and Bioeconomy of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
In addition, the Institute for Applied Biology at HFU has set itself the goal of providing new impetus for closer integration of research and teaching at HFU.
