Focus on resources

The Institute of Applied Biology (IANB) at HFU contributes to the further development of the bioeconomy as well as industrial and medical biotechnology with its research. Its members conduct research and development at the center of the fields of action Health and Sustainability, Climate Protection and Energy of the Federal Government's High-Tech Strategy 2025 as well as the strategic research priorities Health and Bioeconomy of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

In addition, the Institute of Applied Biology at HFU has set itself the goal of providing new impetus for the closer integration of research and teaching at HFU.
