Research and projects (I22197-1)

The prot P.S.I. project is funded by the BMBF through the "Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Initiative" funding stream. The project is an entrepreneurially led research and development partnership which deals with the modulation of the reactivity of proteins and thermodynamics using pressure. The HFU working group is working on the development of new adaptive model-based control and automation strategies.

Microfluidics project

Research and projects (I22215-1)

The Micromet project is funded by the BMBF through the "Alternative methods of animal testing" funding stream. A microfluid system has been developed to examine the extravasation of tumour cells in the vascular system. Following up on this work, the focus of the working group is now the modulation of the extravasation using inhibition or strengthening of the transendothelial migration. At the same time the microfluid system will be represented  mathematically and implemented in appropriate software.
