Details of the programme

Programme content and structure

The part-time professional development "Interdisciplinary Health Promotion" programme offers a total of four different certificate degrees (Certificate of Advanced Studies): "Neuromuscular Function - Movement Analysis and Training", "Diagnostics and Management in Health Promotion", "Applied Nutritional Science - Health, Performance, Sport" and "Applied Health Promotion". These stand alone and can also be booked individually.

What is the DAS?

Collect points for the various qualifications!  A "Diploma of Advanced Studies" (DAS) can be achieved with two CAS certificates (Certificate of Advanced Studies) and a specialisation module. Here you can choose between "Exercise, health diagnostics and health management" and "Nutrition, health psychology and health promotion".

The path to a master's degree

For those who have completed a bachelor's degree and have completed both of the "DAS" certificates, your path to a master's is clear! For this, the "Research project", "Exchange in science" and "Scientific work" modules are taken in the area of research skills. The master's module then includes the master's thesis and the master's oral  examination.

The Master of Science can be achieved in three to five years of part-time study, depending on individual planning. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) can be completed within one year. Each module lasts one semester and the workload is around eight hours per week. Two weekends of attendance time are scheduled per module.
