Shape the future with intelligent systems
Internal link opens in the same window:Artificial intelligence (AI) is already real today and is influencing our society: ChatGPT is a prominent example. But robots that assist us with daily housework or gardening, drones that run errands, autonomously driving cars and medical diagnoses are also based on AI analyses, to name just a few examples. The ongoing digitalisation in industry, medicine and care, agriculture and administration is increasingly based on intelligent systems. This development will continue.
Designing, developing and optimising intelligent software will become a key skill of our future society.
Would you like to learn more about the concepts and potentials of AI? Or to develop your own ideas about it in projects and implement them with modern tools? Then choose our Computer Science degree programme with a specialisation in AI.
The specialisation in Artificial Intelligence teaches you methods and tools of machine learning. You will gain basic skills for working efficiently with large amounts of data and the realisation of artificial neural networks. In addition, you will deal with the use of AI in the field of cyber security and in the context of autonomous systems.
Dive into the methods for realising intelligent behavior in business or technical environments. With the Artificial Intelligence specialisation, you will acquire a solid foundation for your career, which will open up a broad field of applications for your professional career.
Curriculum
The clearly structured bachelor's programme lasts seven semesters. In each semester, you take five modules, which are usually completed with a graded certificate of achievement. The foundation study period lasts two semesters, the advanced study period five semesters.
In the two integrated projects in the 4th and 6th semesters, you can already gain practical experience during your studies. You will complete the 5th semester as a practical semester in a software company of your choice. If you are interested, you can complete the 6th semester as a semester abroad - we will support you in finding a suitable university. In the 7th semester you complete your studies with the thesis, which is usually written in a company.
