Details of study programme

Programme content and structure

The standard period of study for our master's degree programme is three semesters. The first semester focuses on the basics, from supply chain management and consulting methods to business process management. The second semester builds on this, for example when it comes to business strategies and data warehousing. In the third semester, you will write your thesis, either outside the university with contact to industry or at the university.

Entry requirements

A first degree and English language proficiency are required to apply for a "Business Consulting" study place.

In detail: We require a first, above-average, professionally qualifying university degree in the field of economics, computer science, business informatics or a related field, which involved at least three years of full-time study resulting in a bachelor's, master's, magister, a diploma recognised in Germany, or equivalent. In terms of language skills, proof of English language proficiency of at least TOEFL IBT 76 or IELTS Academic 6.0 or equivalent must be provided. Only native speakers from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and anyone who has completed a university degree in these countries do not need to send proof of English language proficiency. German language skills do not need to be proven - but we encourage all our students to take part in the free German courses at the university.
