The Study and Examination Regulations (SPO) include everything you need to know about the assessments for the study programme you are taking. The relevant version is always the officially published notification of the Study and Examination Regulations which will contain any interim regulations (when there are changes to the SPO). Information for students on teaching and examinations regulations

Extension of the standard period of study:

For students who are or were enrolled in the summer semester 2020, in the winter semester 2020/2021, in the summer semester 2021 and/or in the winter semester 2021/2022, the individual standard period of study is extended by one semester for each of these semesters, but by a maximum of three semesters in total. Deregistration due to exceeding the deadline in accordance with § 5 para. 3 SPO occurs at earliest after the individual standard period of study recalculated in this way.

Internship semester:

In the practical semester, instead of the 95 days required in § 3, para. 2 of the SPO, at least 80 days of attendance must be proven in the winter semester 21/22 as well as in the summer semester 2022. This reduction must be applied for and justified to the coordinator for the internship study semesters. There will be no blanket reduction to 80 days. Home office days confirmed by the company count as attendance days.
