Best Practice Executive MBA Vortrag

Vinoth Kumar Kannan, Global Head of Data Management and Prof. Dr. Michael Hepp, Dean of Studies Executive MBA

Vinoth Kumar Kannan, Global Head of Data Management at ZF Group, gave a lecture at the HFU Business School at the Schwenningen campus as part of the Executive MBA Best Practices lecture series. Under the title "Unlocking Business Potential: The Role of Data Management in Today's Business Landscape", he spoke about the increasing importance of data management and its vast potential.

Data has become one of the most valuable resources for businesses and is often referred to as the new gold. Companies are usually aware of the need for an effective data management strategy, yet the way existing data is used varies widely. In his one-hour presentation in English, the speaker addressed the cultural and organisational changes required to establish a data-driven mindset and illustrated how data can become a central part of a company's decision-making processes. This generated a great deal of discussion making it a very interesting evening.

Vinoth Kumar Kannan, a very successful graduate of the Executive MBA 2020 programme, returned to HFU Business School. Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Michael Hepp expressed his sincere thanks for the lecture, which was open to current Executive MBA students as well as alumni and those interested in the programme or the lecture topic. After the lecture, all guests were invited to a buffet and the lively discussions continued.

The Executive MBA starts every summer semester and celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. The lecture series "Best Practices" is an integral part of the part-time, English-language programme with a focus on general management. The next Open Evening will take place on Friday, 14 July at 5.30pm.

The next Executive MBA programme will start in March 2024. Application deadline is 15 January 2024.
