For the first time, Furtwangen University (HFU) is one of the venues of the Transcultural Leadership Summit: on the afternoons of 10 and 11 November, participating universities in Brazil, Germany, Poland, South Africa and Vietnam will be discussing the future of transcultural leadership.

A wide range of contributions from international experts will be streamed and discussed from the H Building on the Schwenningen campus of HFU. A special highlight will be the on-site panel discussion on "The Futures are VUCA - Current trends, regio-global perspectives and success stories of good leadership for tomorrow", organized in cooperation with the HFU Business School Alumni Network IBAA e.V. and the Gewerbeverband Oberzentrum (GVO). The organising team led by HFU professor Dr Julika Baumann Montecinos and Marco Gola, IBAA chairman and head of the GVO HR team, is pleased to welcome two exciting speakers, alumnus Enno Däneke, head of corporate strategy at the fischer group, and GVO member Moritz Böcher from RMB process engineering GmbH, to the HFU campus in Schwenningen to exchange ideas with students, faculty and guests from the region.

The event kicks off on Thursday, 10 November, at 1.00pm opened by Professor Dr Michael Lederer, Vice-President for International Affairs and Continuing Education at HFU. On Friday, 11 November, another interactive format will take place online: Visions of transcultural leadership will be discussed in a global "Future Lab," led by Dr Stefan Bergheim and Lena Tünkers of ZUKÜNFTE.

Julika Baumann Montecinos, a professor at HFU Business School since 2021, previously helped develop the Transcultural Leadership Summit format at Zeppelin University, and she is now pleased to participate in this project with HFU: "In cooperation with our local and international partners, this interactive event aims to provide opportunities for our students and guests to engage in exciting future perspectives on leadership." Participation in the event is free of charge. Interested parties can contact Professor Baumann Montecinos directly for more information and to register: julika.montecinos(at)hs-furtwangen.de
