An introduction to the doctorate
Do you enjoy research and are you wondering whether a doctorate might be right for you?
On Wednesday 4 November, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, the Doctoral Association of Baden-Württemberg’s Universities of Applied Sciences is holding an introductory session. The event will cover, amongst other things, the personal entry requirements and challenges of a doctorate, financing and support options. It will also address questions such as how a doctorate programme through the Doctoral Association of Baden-Württemberg’s Universities of Applied Sciences works and which other institutions offer doctorate programmes.
Following this, individual universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg, including Furtwangen University, will introduce themselves and their programmes for doctoral candidates in breakout sessions.
