A lecture in the ‘Summer School’ series at Furtwangen University
A cell biology experiment whose description sounds as though it could be taken from a children’s book or a thriller – visitors will find out how it works in the next lecture in the ‘Summer School’ series at Furtwangen University (HFU). In the event ‘One experiment, written 15 different ways’, Dr Angela Magin will present various genres and text types. She will explain how texts are created and, using the description of an experiment, illustrate the influence of genre and medium on the content of a text.
Anyone interested in the subject of writing and texts is warmly invited to attend on Wednesday 26 August. The free lecture begins at 5.00pm in the O building, room 0.10 (Luisenstraße 14) on the HFU’s Furtwangen campus.
