A lecture in the ‘Summer School’ series at Furtwangen University
How can microplastics be removed from the natural environment? What role do genetically engineered enzymes play in this? Prof. Dr Ulrike Salat from Furtwangen University (HFU) provides the answers. In her lecture as part of the HFU ‘Summer School’ series, the professor of molecular biology will explain how genetic engineering can help in the fight against microplastics. She will also discuss how new detection methods could prevent plastics from entering the environment in future.
