Selected from among 67 projects by Center for Cultural Participation in Baden-Württemberg
The German Clock Museum has been included on the longlist for the “Wirkt! Kultur in Gesellschaft” programme. This makes the museum one of 67 cultural projects in Baden-Württemberg that demonstrate how art and culture contribute in very concrete ways to social cohesion and democratic participation.
The programme is administered by the Center for Cultural Participation Baden-Württemberg (ZfKT). Its goal is to highlight exemplary projects that bring people together through culture, open up new perspectives, and enable participation — both in major institutions in metropolitan areas and in local cultural venues.
The longlist is the result of a statewide call for entries — in early 2026, nearly 100 projects from Baden-Württemberg applied, from which an expert jury selected 67 projects for the longlist. These projects represent the great diversity of cultural practice in the state — ranging from theatres and museums to festivals, independent collectives and cultural associations.
The fact that the German Clock Museum is part of this selection underscores its role as a place of encounter and cultural outreach.
