We celebrate our prize winners
Furtwangen University is proud of its students’ outstanding achievements! Many students distinguish themselves not only through their exceptional academic knowledge, but also through their extraordinary commitment. On Tuesday, 1 December, at 5.00pm, we will be honouring this in a festive setting with the presentation of various prizes and awards – including the Germany Scholarships and other sponsorship awards. Whether it’s a scholarship or the best final thesis – guests can look forward to short presentations by the prize-winners, impressive personalities and fascinating topics.
Through the Germany Scholarships, companies, associations and private individuals support particularly committed and high-achieving students with a monthly grant, enabling them to focus fully on their studies.
We are delighted to welcome the scholarship providers to the celebrations as well.
This year, for the first time, prizes from the PE Foundation in St. Georgen will be awarded. In addition to awards for outstanding bachelor’s and master’s theses, the PE Foundation will, for the first time at HFU, also be presenting an award for a doctoral thesis. Long-standing supporters of HFU students will also be presenting the prizes from AESCULAP AG, the EGT Group and the Gisela and Erwin Sick Foundation in person to the award-winning students.
Starting at 4.45pm, we will welcome our guests with musical accompaniment in the auditorium (Building B, Room 1.14a) on the Furtwangen campus. The awards ceremony begins at 5.00pm.
