A lecture in the HFU Summer School series
How does civil protection work in Germany, and what does this mean in practical terms for citizens? In their lecture as part of the Summer School series, Prof. Dr Marion Meinert and Dr Manuela Rösch will explain the fundamentals of civil protection and disaster management. On Thursday 10 September, they will discuss who is responsible in an emergency, how the federal, state and local authorities work together, and how these structures have developed over time. The aim is to make safety and security tangible and to provide guidance for emergencies.
The free lecture will take place on the Freiburg campus in Building A, Room 2.04. All interested adults are welcome to attend.
