A lecture in the HFU Summer School series
Since the dawn of human history, we have been surrounded by devices – and have created them ourselves. Driven by technical curiosity, keen observation and creativity, humans have developed tools, instruments and machines to shape their environment, solve problems and open up new possibilities. In his Summer School lecture, Prof. Dr Mike Fornefett takes a look at the astonishing variety of devices that have emerged over time. On Wednesday, 26 August at 10.00am on the Schwenningen campus, the talk will cover, amongst other things, the design and applications of devices. Anyone interested is welcome to attend this free lecture.
