Graduation ceremony of the HFU Business School
Around 100 graduates of the HFU Business School at Furtwangen University (HFU) were in the mood to celebrate. Together with family, friends, lecturers and other members of HFU, they gathered in the Neckarhalle in Schwenningen to mark the successful completion of their studies. In his opening speech, Prof Dr Armin Trost, Dean of Faculty IV: Business, Design & Media, said: “We are delighted that, through our international network, we are able to stay in touch with our students even after they have graduated. This enables us to accompany them on their further journey and share in their future successes.”
The evening was hosted by two students who guided the audience through the programme with professionalism, charm and commitment. Highlights included the valedictory speeches by Maria Nöken and Hannah Sophie Petrik, both graduates of Business Management and Psychology (BMP), and by Executive MBA graduate Mert Cimen, who represented the master’s graduates.
Musical accompaniment was provided by Keziah Kelly and Ashton D’Souza. Their live performances created a warm, festive atmosphere and gave the evening a special touch. The newly graduated alumni agreed that this would not be their last evening at HFU: thanks to the active HFU Business School alumni network, they will remain closely connected with the university.
