Organised by the HFU "Center for Industry-Related Services" project
Industry-related services are becoming increasingly important for companies’ competitiveness and innovative strength. They are closely linked to industrial value-added processes and help develop new business models, more efficient processes, and digital solutions. This opens up significant opportunities, particularly for medium-sized industrial service providers, to hold their own in the face of international competition and tap into new markets.
With this in mind, the Forum for Interactive and Intelligent Services (Forum I² DL Freiburg) will host an event on Thursday, 15 October. The forum offers a platform for in-depth technical discussion, practical exchange, and innovative solutions. In addition, the event will provide insight into current developments, showcase concrete application examples, and offer ideas on how companies can leverage industry-related services for their own growth. In addition to a keynote speech and a panel discussion, participants can choose from four different workshops: Service Prototyping; Service Blueprinting; Developing AI-Supported Service Processes; and Use Case Analysis – AI Readiness.
The event is aimed at employees in medium-sized companies, industry-related service providers, research and higher education institutions, as well as managing directors seeking strategic inspiration for their companies.
The forum is being organised by the “Internal link opens in the same window:Center for Industry-Related Services“ research project at Furtwangen University in collaboration with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the Southern Upper Rhine. The “Center for Industry-Related Services” project is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism.
The forum will be held on Thursday, 15 October, from 10.00am to 6.00pm at Kreativpark Lokhalle (Paul-Ehrlich-Straße 7, 79106 Freiburg). All interested parties are welcome to attend this free event. Registration is required to attend. External link opens in a new window:Registration and further programme details.
