"The world is full of solutions"
Louis Palmer and his “SolarButterfly” will be stopping at Furtwangen University on 9 and 10 June.
Wednesday, 10 June, is Future Day on the Schwenningen campus. Louis Palmer will be making a stop in the courtyard with his “SolarButterfly” − a solar-powered vehicle that is the only one of its kind in the world. The climate pioneer will present various climate protection solutions that are already in use around the globe. In addition, university projects and institutes will showcase their work on climate protection at “Future Tables.”
From 2.00pm on, visitors are invited to view the “SolarButterfly,” engage in discussion, and gain new insights into climate protection.

Tuesday, 9 June: Future Afternoon on Furtwangen Campus
- Starting at 1.30pm: “SolarButterfly” on Robert-Gerwig-Platz.
- 2.00pm: Keynote presentation by Louis Palmer
- 2.45 - 4.30pm: Live explanations and dialogue with Louis Palmer at the SolarButterfly and at the Future Tables
- 5.00pm: Lecture “The World Is Full of Solutions” by Louis Palmer and Prof. Christoph Wittwer (Fraunhofer ISE), followed by a panel discussion, auditorium
Wednesday, 10 June: Future Day on Schwenningen Campus
- 8.00am - 1.00pm: Exclusively for HFU students
- 8.00 - 9.30am: Lecture by Louis Palmer, solar-powered car, and future-themed tables
- 9.45 - 11.15am: Lecture by Louis Palmer, solar-powered car, and future-themed tables
