A lecture in the Studium Generale series
It looks ugly, but it tastes delicious and has already saved millions of lives. For this, it not only won the Nobel Prize but was also named Microbe of the Year: the mold Penicillium. Was that really deserved? This easy-to-understand lecture by HFU Prof. Dr. Markus Egert sheds light on the subject and introduces this unattractive but endearing champion in more detail.
The lecture will take place on Wednesday, 24 June, in the E Building, Room 0.02 on the Schwenningen Campus, starting at 6.00pm. All those interested are welcome to attend this free lecture; no advance registration is required.
The Studium Generale series offers academic lectures on current and socially relevant topics. Experts from a wide range of disciplines present their findings and then engage in discussion with the audience.
