The international fashion show features outfits from around the world
International Festival on 20 May on Schwenningen Campus
How does a Chinese tea ceremony work? What do people eat in El Salvador? And how do people dress for special occasions on the other side of the world? Visitors can learn all this and much more at the International Festival on the Schwenningen campus of Furtwangen University (HFU).
Culinary highlights from over ten different countries will be available to sample, including Korea, Nigeria and Peru. In addition to traditional dishes prepared by students, there will also be traditional singing, music, and performances. For example, a karate performance and a collaborative musical piece featuring the piano and trombone. Various activities, such as Chinese and Persian calligraphy, a drawing workshop, and a photo studio, offer further insights into other cultures. A special highlight of the festival is the international fashion show, where students will showcase festive attire from countries around the world.
On Wednesday, 20 May, starting at 5.00pm, the student organising team invites everyone to celebrate together at the HFU International Campus in Schwenningen. The event will take place in the F building; if the weather is nice, the performances will take place in the courtyard outside the F Building.
