Handout contains recommendations for professionals

In the TelePaepa project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, the Internal link opens in the same window:Care and Technology Lab (IMTT) collaborated with the Federal Association of Children's Hospices (Bundesverband Kinderhospiz e.V.) and the Freiburg University Medical Center to investigate how digital forms of communication can support outpatient care for seriously ill children.

Now that the project has been completed, a handbook has been published summarising the results of the research project and translating them into concrete recommendations suitable for everyday use. The guide offers professionals guidance on how digital elements can be responsibly integrated into children's and youth hospice work and outpatient pediatric palliative care. This not only creates direct added-value for caregivers, but also for affected families and care in rural areas.
