With the “Brains behind the Tech” lecture series, Furtwangen University will open its doors to all those interested on its Tuttlingen campus in the summer semester of 2026.

On four lecture evenings, speakers from various industries will present specific projects — from software development and product and interface design, to medical technology. A fifth event will showcase the “Internal link opens in the same window:Engineering Psychology” and “Internal link opens in the same window:Human Factors” degree programmes and invite visitors to get to know the department.

Format, location and participation

With the lecture series “Brains behind the Tech,” Furtwangen University is opening its doors. Participation is open to anyone interested, and admission is free.

• 6.45pm: Doors open
• 7.00pm: Event begins
• 8.15pm: Wrap up with pretzels and drinks
