Event from the “CoHMed Connect” series at Furtwangen University

What possibilities do biodegradable (resorbable) materials offer for implants? This question will be addressed at the next event in the “CoHMedConnect” series at Furtwangen University (HFU).

On Thursday, 5 March, the HFU's CoHMed innovation and transfer partnership, in cooperation with MedicalMountains, is hosting an event on the topic of “Innovative biomaterials in medical technology” on the Tuttlingen campus of HFU.

Dr. Tobias Wolfram, Director of Research at KLS Martin SE & Co. KG, will give a keynote speech on “Innovative resorbable biomaterials in osteosynthetic patient care.” He will present research on biodegradable metals and new research approaches for the use of various material combinations. The focus will be on applications in oral and maxillofacial surgery. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion with other participants.

The event will take place from 4.00 to 6.00pm in Building A, Room 3.03 on the Tuttlingen Campus (Kronenstraße 16, 78532 Tuttlingen) and is free of charge. Interested parties are welcome to attend and can find further information and register here: https://hfu.li/7fap
