On Schwenningen Campus
From Monday, 9 March, to Friday, 13 March, you will have the opportunity to refresh your knowledge of chemistry on the Schwenningen campus before you start university.
The preparatory course, aimed at first-year students, is a refresher course before the first semester starts.
The topics covered include:
- Periodic table of elements
- Fundamentals of bonding theory
- Stoichiometry
- Oxidation numbers
- Scheme for creating redox reactions
The lecture part of the course takes place from 8.30am to 10.00am and from 10.30am to 12.00 noon. After the lunch break, the material learned will be reinforced in the practical section from 1.00 - 2.30pm and from 2.45 - 4.15pm.
The event will take place on the Schwenningen campus in E Building, Room 0.02. Participation in the free event is voluntary. The registration deadline for the refresher course is Thursday, 5 March.
