25 Years HFU Business School

This year we, the HFU Business School, celebrate our 25th anniversary. The many emotional congratulations we've received from around the world are greatly appreciated. The result is the one-of-a-kind film you see here – a film which tells our story, from the early days of setting up the faculty, to the important decisions made along the way and the goals we set. Personal insights and stories told by teaching staff, graduates and students reflect what we are – a successful faculty with an international flair and a friendly atmosphere. We are extremely proud of our international "HFU Business School Family" and look forward to many more years of success!

How it all began...

Prof. Dr. Rolf Schofer, President of Furtwangen University (HFU), takes us on a trip back through time to the establishment of the HFU Business School, the landmark decisions made 25 years ago and its development into one of the most internationally oriented and best-ranked business schools in Germany.

Andrea Linke, Head of Administration of Furtwangen University (HFU), congratulates the HFU Business School on its 25 anniversary, addressing the students, graduates and staff whose commitment made the HFU Business School success story possible.

Jürgen Roth, Mayor of the Town of Villingen-Schwenningen sends his congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the HFU Business School and emphasises the importance of its international character and students for the town and the region.

Marco Gola, Chairman of the IBAA Business Network Alumni Association was one of the first graduates of the Business School. In his congratulatory video he shares his experiences from the early days of the Business School. He also points out the opportunities that the international orientation gives graduates, and what it means to be a member of the worldwide, intercultural Business School family.
