As a faculty at a university of applied sciences with a focus on highly relevant social issues, we see it as our mission to contribute to a healthy and safe life for all population groups through our research activities and results, and to meet current as well as future challenges with innovative solutions. To this end, we work in research and transfer projects with a wide range of cooperation and practical partners in the region.

Our research activities also form an essential basis for up-to-date teaching and thus for the vocational training of our students. We involve our students in research projects within the framework of study projects, bachelor's and master's theses. In addition, we offer committed young scientists the opportunity to obtain a doctorate.
