The Studium Generale is a general education initiative of the University. It promotes interdisciplinary thinking and comprehensive personal development in the students. The humanistic orientation aims to provide a liberal education.
Speakers in the Studium Generale are experts in their field who present their subject in a clear and understandable way and afterwards invite questions from the audience.
The range of subjects of the Studium Generale is unlimited but HFU specifically aims to include interdisciplinary questions of sustainable development.
The talks are open to all students, professors, university staff, and members of the public. Entrance is free for all events.
