The Studium Generale extracurricular studies programme is a general education initiative of the University. It promotes interdisciplinary thinking and comprehensive personal development in the students. The humanistic orientation aims to broaden students' horizons.
What is the Studium Generale extracurricular study programme?
Speakers in the Studium Generale extracurricular studies programme are experts in their field who present their subject in a clear and understandable way and afterwards invite questions from the audience.
There is no limit to the range of subjects of the Studium Generale but through the programme, HFU aims, among other things, to encourage active involvement in interdisciplinary questions of sustainable development.
The talks are open to all students, professors, university staff, and members of the public. Entrance is free for all events.
The list will be passed round during the lectures for you to add your name. Anyone who is already in the mailing list should not add their name again.
