Is the course marked and closed off?
The course is clearly marked. At all relevant points there are track marshals and signposts. Each kilometer is clearly marked. The police and the Town of Furtwangen are informed. The crossing of Martin-Schmidt-Strasse is secured by posts.

What about catering?
Water, tea and sports drinks by UltraSports are available at kilometer 5, at kilometer 10.5, at kilometer 16 and in the finishing line area. Bananas and apples are also available and there are milkshakes and soup in the finishing line area.

Are there changing facilities?
The changing facilities are signposted.

Is there a luggage storage area?
You can hand in your luggage and valuables in the large conference room (B1.15). The luggage storage area is staffed at all times. The articles are stored according to the start numbers.

Is there a support programme for spectators?
Everybody is invited to the Pasta Party. The food at the Pasta Party is free of charge for competitors. Non-competitors are charged.
At the end of the race, in Room B1.14 competitors and spectators can relax and enjoy coffee and cakes, or a delicious soup by the Braun butcher’s shop, while reviewing the day's events.
Don't miss the awards ceremony at 1.30pm. If you are not one of the event winners who receive a lithograph by the artist Paul Revellio, you can buy these to help finance the half-marathon.

How and by when do I have to pay the entry fee?
The entry fee of €12 has to be paid in advance (by bank transfer) to the organiser. The runners are considered registered when the bank transfer has been received. The number of starters is limited to 300. If there are any places still available, late registrations (€15) are possible up to 1 hour before the start of the half-marathon and the 10km races in the major conference room (B1.15).
The bank account will be sent by email together with the confirmation of your registration.

How is the runtime determined?
The WING half-marathon and the 10km race are operated with a professional timing procedure which is provided and supervised by the company Racesolutions.
