By train and bus
- Triberg train station - a direct bus connection to Furtwangen leaves from here; its schedule is coordinated to meet arriving trains. Get off the bus at "Furtwangen Rößleplatz". For the return journey to Triberg you also get on at the "Furtwangen Rößleplatz" stop.
- Donaueschingen, Villingen and Freiburg stations. These also offer direct bus connections to Furtwangen. Get off the bus at "Furtwangen Rößleplatz".

The twin town of Villingen-Schwenningen, with over 88,000 inhabitants, is the heart of a successful economic region – whether hidden champion, long-established traditional company or resourceful start-up, sectors such as IT, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry are booming here.
Founded in 1988, the university campus is located on the site of the former Kienzle watch factory.
Our Schwenningen campus is located right next to the train station and the city centre – everything within walking distance and easy to reach. The Schwenningen Moos nature reserve is also nearby and offers great opportunities for sport, or simply to take a break and a deep breath.

How to get to the Tuttlingen Campus:
By car
From Stuttgart. Take the A81 in the direction of Singen. Take the Tuningen | Tuttlingen | Bad Dürrheim | Spaichingen exit. Turn right onto the B523 to Tuttlingen.
From Freiburg. Take the B31 in the direction of Donaueschingen | Titisee-Neustadt. Turn off after Neustadt onto the B27 in the direction of the Stuttgart | Singen motorway. From there turn onto the A864|E531 and take Exit 37 | Stuttgart. At the Bad Dürrheim motorway junction, continue on the A81 | E41 in the direction of Singen. Take the Tuningen | Tuttlingen | Bad Dürrheim | Spaichingen exit. Turn right onto the B523 to Tuttlingen.
In Tuttlingen
- Main building, Kronenstraße 16. In Tuttlingen continue in the direction of Stockach | Bodensee (B14). Follow Stuttgarter Straße, L277 (1,2 km). Turn right onto "Untere Haupstraße" and follow this street for approximately 0.3 km. At the "Ticketbox"/Königstraße turn left. Take the second street on the right, Gerberstraße. Follow the street until you come to Kronenstraße.
- B Building, Uhlandstraße 11. At first follow the same route as for Kronenstraße 16. In Kronenstraße turn left into Brunnenstraße and left again into Wielandstraße. Take the next right into Uhlandstraße.
- C Building, Schützenstraße 14. At first follow the same route as for Kronenstraße 16. C Building is directly opposite the main building.

- A new parking lot has been built in Brunnenstraße.
By train
Tuttlingen main railway station (Hauptbahnhof ) - follow Donaueschinger Straße to Aesculap-Platz. Follow Möhringer Straße which joins Katharinenstraße. At the end of Katharinenstraße turn left onto Kronenstraße. The campus is located at Kronenstraße 16.

Cutting-edge research in historical setting
The Rottweil Research Center, which opened in March 2016, is located on a historic industrial site on the premises of a former gunpowder factory in Rottweil. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Medical Technology conducts research into innovative plasma coating technologies here. In addition, research is carried out here in a hall for mechanical engineering and Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art robots, automation technology and simulation.

Part of the physiotherapy training for the Physiotherapy study programme is carried out in the new study center in Freiburg. With its bright, light-filled rooms and central location easily accessible by public transport, the study center offers ideal study conditions.
